A Letter from Lisa:
Friends, I am requesting your support for my campaign for re-election to the Shelby Township Board of Trustees to continue my advocacy for families and safety throughout our community. Shortly after my appointment to the Board of Trustees in January 2019, I requested a post on the township's Sidewalk Committee, and I worked with committee members and my fellow Board members to tackle the issue of pedestrian safety and increased walkability within our township.

Leading the Shelby Township Sidewalk Committee we have coordinated the installation of over 4.5 miles of sidewalk throughout the township. We secured grant money to install 6 rapid flashing beacon crosswalks in key areas of the township and also a pedestrian bridge on 25 Mile Road.
Shelby Township provided a safe and secure setting to raise my family, and I want to continue to work for the citizens of the township on the Board of Trustees. I am also the board liaison on the Planning Commision where I strive to maintain a controlled mix between Shelby Township’s charm and new development.

Together, we can keep Shelby Township the best place to live in Macomb County!
